Oil companies might have close political relations with governments at the highest levels such as both President Bushes apparently were executives of their own oil companies. Some small oil companies might be in Texas and Oklahoma and beyond. Oil provides just about all the energy for transportation including cars, trucks, buses, airplanes and trains. Oil might also heat buildings, fuel industries, and farm equipment. Oil might even provide lubrication and essential for plastics, paint, fertilizers and pharmaceuticals. Oil may be viewed as a product that we cannot live without in our modern world. Oil companies might refine oil and reserve it for future needs.
